Big Bad Woof was one of the few stores at the Shoppes at Arts District Hyattsville without an official storefront sign, but that changed today. The Hyattsville location of the local gourmet pet supply store spent the day hanging up their new official sign.
An employee of the store told the Hyattsville Wire that it worked through Hyattsville’s Commercial Facade Improvement Program, which provides grants to improve commercial facades. Qualifying properties can receive up to $45,000 in a dollar-for-dollar match.
The program is through the City of Hyattsville, which was awarded a Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
