The Hyattsville CDC is putting together a guide to local arts-related businesses and nonprofits.
Justin Fair, the newest employee of the local nonprofit, will be interviewing local business owners and others in the area for the “Gateway on Foot Walking Tour” on the Gateway Arts District website.
The exact format of the section of the site is still up in the air, but Fair said it will be a little like a blog dedicated to writing about the arts, featuring interviews, videos and photographs.
He’ll feature people who “support the arts, or do something in the arts or just have a business that caters to the artist community,” he told the Hyattsville Wire.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Fair has previously worked at the Brentwood Arts Exchange and Riggio Design, so he knows the area well.
