The Hyattsville Arts Festival isn’t until September, but it’s getting things started now.

The fifth annual festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, but exhibitors need to submit an application by Aug. 6.

Here’s what they’re looking for, according to Hyattsville CDC staffer Justin Fair:

Only original artwork, photography, handmade jewelry, and handmade crafts are allowed. No commercial merchandise will be accepted, unless it is incredibly unique and environmentally friendly in nature.

Festival coordinators expect at least 50 visual and performing artists, craft vendors and educators to show up to this year’s event.

You can download an application to be an exhibitor here.
