Rhodes was born in Brooklyn, but now lives in Hyattsville with her husband and three children.
Her husband, R.W. Rhodes, has also authored several children’s books including “Trunks, Snout, Nosey…and the Bright Shiny Stone” and the “Bully and the Bee.”
