Now through May 22, Mount Rainer’s highly regarded Art Works Studio School will be holding toddler-focused art projects every other Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. as part of the Hyattsville Parent & Child Program at Magruder Park. You can pay $3 on a drop-in basis or purchase tickets in advance.

Art Works is planning a permanent move to Hyattsville with its recent purchase of the old and vacant Marche Florist building on Route 1.

The school’s founder Barbara Johnson plans to complete renovations in the coming months and open doors this winter.
