EYA is back in Arts District Hyattsville.
The original developer of the rowhomes on the west side of Route 1 had handed the east side of the project over to Pulte Homes during the housing bust.
Now it’s come back to finish the job. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, it will hold a grand opening at its new sales center on Longfellow Street.
Although the layouts of the homes are similar, some minor adjustments have been made to things like the placement of washers and dryers and a bathroom design based on feedback from owners of the existing homes.
In December, the Hyattsville City Council approved changes to the exterior, adding more brick and a more modern look than the existing homes. Another 61 homes will be built in the next phase of the project.
Work is also moving ahead on a pool for homeowners in Arts District Hyattsville.
