A Dog Park at Palette Apartments

Dog park at Hyattsville apartments

Palette Apartments has added a small dog park.

The largest of the three apartment buildings in Arts District Hyattsville now has a narrow dog park for residents on its eastern side, facing the railroad tracks.

The park has a tunnel and ladder for dogs to play on, but would probably be best suited for a smaller pet. Along with the nearby Big Bad Woof organic pet store and the Paw Zen pet spa down the road, it’s a sign that the area has become a lot more pet-friendly of late.

The city also runs an 36,000-square-foot dog park at Heurich Park near the West Hyattsville Metro station.
