You can now get Franklins beer in a bottle.
While you’ve long been able to buy other breweries’ beer from the general store or get a growler of Franklins own to take home, you couldn’t get it in a bottle.
That’s changed, thanks to a law signed by Gov. Martin O’Malley. Previously, Maryland brewpubs couldn’t sell their own beer on site.
The Hyattsville Wire tried a $9.99 bottle of Franklins India Pale Ale and found it tasted just as good as when you have it in the restaurant.
