District Taco is heading to Riverdale Park Station as well.
The popular D.C. eatery is one of the other planned tenants for the new shopping center around the upcoming Whole Foods grocery store.
District Taco is not just another Mexican restaurant. After starting as a taco cart in Rosslyn in 2009, it’s grown to a seven-restaurant chain. (The Washington Post named its healthy breakfast taco one of the 40 “most essential dishes” of 2015.)
This would be the first Maryland outpost for the restaurant chain, although its opening date is still to-be-announced.
A map from real estate brokerage firm H&R Retail also shows leases for Seattle-based fast-casual chain MOD Pizza, California chain Habit Burger, a Jersey Mike’s sandwich shop, Burton’s Grill and Bar, an Old Line Bank, a Bella Beach nail spa and a Gold’s Gym, plus a number of spaces yet to be signed.
Whole Foods opens on April 12.
