The new Whole Foods at Riverdale Park Station is opening Wednesday, but the Hyattsville Wire got a sneak peek.
The 40,000-square-foot market has 13 specialty departments including a coffee and espresso bar and a Whole Body section, and has six varieties of cold-pressed juice on tap, hand-tossed wood iron pizza and even self-serve mochi. And if you look closely, you’ll find the Maryland flag incorporated into the interior design of the store.
They also carry a wide variety of locally sourced products. Check out the list here on the Whole Foods website.
There will be a traditional bread-breaking ceremony at 8:45 a.m. on the day of the grand opening, April 12, and the community is invited to attend.
