Goshen to Open in Hyattsville in February

A gourmet raw food market is coming to downtown Hyattsville.

Formerly located at Union Market in D.C., Goshen has moved into a space next to Franklins, at 5105 Baltimore Ave., with plans to officially open sometime in February.

The Hyattsville Wire caught up with co-owners Nathaniel Adams and Victor Ferguson during the preview today and sampled a fresh-squeezed kale-lemon-ginger-apple juice.

The market will sell fresh pressed juices, smoked fish, vegan desserts and French pastries and breads, and offer catering as well as private dining for up to eight guests. It will even sell body care products as well.

Adams said the market will initially just open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at first, but will eventually have more regular hours and even offer online groceries.

Goshen joins the WaterHole, a raw, vegan juice bar in Mount Rainier, as among the Route 1 area’s ultra-healthy offerings.
