Two new retail stores and a restaurant are opening this month at the Mall at Prince Georges.
Express Factory Outlet will open June 15, as part of a national effort by the fashion-forward retailer to offer more lower-priced clothing.
Five Below, a tween- and teen-targeted retailer that sells most items for five dollars or less, will open on June 22.
And Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, a D.C. area fast-casual chain that aims to do for Mediterranean food what Chipotle did for Mexican, will open June 30.
The three new additions join a growing list of new and popular retail stores and dining options at the mall, which already include Alex and Ani, Five Guys and Chipotle and will soon include an &pizza, which is sheduled to open next month, and Forever 21, coming this fall.
The new stores come as the mall, which is undergoing a $30 million renovation, goes through something of a boom, in stark contrast to national trends.
