Popular brunch pop-up The Uncaged Chefs will hold a sneak preview of its new Brentwood location this Friday, Oct. 11.

Run by 29-year-old chef Damian Brown, The Uncaged Chefs is a “no rules” restaurant where you might get anything from jerk crab grilled cheese to Teddy Graham French toast with fried lobster tail.

After popular events in Capitol Heights and Camp Springs, Brown will move to a new seven-day-a-week location inside the Savor food hall at Studio 3807 at 3807 Rhode Island Ave. in Brentwood, which will hold its grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 17.

A sneak preview of The Uncaged Chefs will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday. With the purchase of a $120 ticket you will receive a red shirt good for a 10 percent discount any time you eat there in the future.

“You will be able to taste everything that’s on our menu before we open our doors to the world,” Brown said in a recent pitch.

Brown worked in traditional kitchens for years before growing bored, leaving to set up competitions where up-and-coming chefs would face off to create new twists on classic comfort food. He’s worked as a private chef for Washington Wizard chef Markeef Morris and rapper Shy Glizzy before starting the Uncaged Chefs.
