After tabulating the submissions, the results are in for the winners of the Hyattsville Wire’s third annual Best of Route 1 reader poll.

They show a mix of longtime local favorites and newcomers on the Route 1 corridor, especially among the area’s growing restaurant scene.

Several winners took the top spot for the third year in a row. Best place to get coffee? Vigilante. Best restaurant? Franklins. Best Sunday brunch? Busboys and Poets.

Others were new to the list. Best Asian restaurant? Banana Blossom Bistro. Best Latin American restaurant? Taqueria Habanero. Best brewery? Streetcar 82 Brewing Co.
