Just as the Washingtonian recently published its December “Made in D.C.” issue, we’ve pulled together a list of items made right here on the Route 1 corridor just in time for Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, and the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
After all, Hyattsville’s unofficial slogan is “Handmade in Hyattsville” and you can find other hand-crafted items in neighboring towns along the Route 1 corridor.
As an arts district, the Route 1 corridor has a number of shops which sell works by local artists and craftspeople, as well as a growing number of craft brewers and roasters. Whatever holiday gift you might be looking for, you can find something made locally.
