Sangfroid Distilling’s new tasting room is now complete with a drink menu available beginning this Saturday, allowing customers to enjoy signature craft cocktails made with Sangfroid spirits.
At the Hyattsville distillery, located at 5130 Baltimore Ave., you’ll now be able to order an Old Fashioned, a Manhattan, a Martini, a Negroni or a gin and ginger cocktail made with its Dutch-style gin, whiskey and brandies.
Each cocktail costs $10, including tax and tip.
“We have chosen to focus on classic cocktails that will highlight our spirits, and offer our customers ideas for how they might enjoy our spirits at home,” co-owner Nate Groenendyk told the Hyattsville Wire.
The development of the tasting room, which accommodates 20 to 25 people, was overseen by Green Owl Design, a Hyattsville interior design and build firm that’s heavily involved in revamping and renovation projects on the Route 1 corridor.
“We expect these cocktails will appeal to our current customers as well as new customers who are discovering Sangfroid for the first time,” Groenendyk added.
Sangfroid and its new tasting room are open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, but Groenendyk says they will look to expand its hours in the coming months.
