Prince George’s County will begin the first phase of reopening after the coronavirus lockdown on Monday, June 1 and D.C. just opened for phase one on Friday, May 29. That means parts of the Route 1 corridor will be open, but it doesn’t mean things are entirely back to normal.
You will be able to pick up items from retail stores curbside, get a haircut from a stylist with an appointment wearing a face mask in a spaced-out hair salon or eat at a restaurant with outdoor seating. But you’ll still need to maintain at least six feet of social distance and wear a face mask inside businesses and on mass transit.
Here’s a look at several outdoor seating options on the Route 1 corridor and what will be open when. As always, let us know if we missed anything in the comments and be sure to check the hours before heading out.
