Another high-end student housing project is headed to College Park.

The Standard at College Park will be a nine-story housing complex on Guilford Drive, bordered by the Terrapin Row student housing complex which houses the Amazon pick-up location to the west and the Southern Gateway project to the east.

It’s part of a $2 billion initiative by Georgia-based Landmark Properties to build new student housing across the country, including locations in Seattle, Raleigh and Flagstaff, Arizona.

Along with 282 units, the project will have 6,670 square-feet of ground-floor retail, as first reported by Route 1 Reporter. It is projected to open by 2023.

Promotional material from Dwell design studio about the project notes that it includes a pocket park built around a flood plain.

“Luxury student living boasts mixed-use life with retail on the ground floor and rooftop amenities such as saunas and a high-end fitness area up top,” the studio writes.
