Four eateries in the Route 1 corridor are finalists for a Rammy award, the latest sign of the area’s thriving restaurant scene.

Mount Rainier’s Pennyroyal Station, Brentwood’s Little Miner Taco, Riverdale Park’s 2Fifty Texas BBQ and College Park’s Tacos a la Madre were all nominated for the award given by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, a regional industry trade group.

They were nominated alongside such noted D.C. hotspots as Rose’s Luxury, Comet Ping Pong and Minibar.

Winners will be chosen by the public and revealed at the 40th annual award ceremony at the Washington Convention Center on July 24.

The awards are:

Favorite Gathering Place: Pennyroyal Station
Favorite Fast Bites: Little Miner Taco
Outstanding Pop-Up Concept: Tacos a la Madre
Standout Family Meal Packages to Go: 2Fifty Texas BBQ
