Mathnasium of Hyattsville to Hold Grand Opening on Sept. 18 (Sponsored Content)

Mathnasium of Hyattsville will hold a grand opening on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Located at 5334 Baltimore Ave., inside the Canvas Apartments building across from Busboys and Poets, the math learning center offers tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students at all skill levels.

Running from 5 to 7 p.m., the ribbon-cutting and grand opening event will include free pizza,  family-friendly activities, math games for all ages, discounts on enrollment, and a chance to win AirPods. It will be free and open to the public.

Center owner Keri deGategno, a veteran journalist turned education advocate, said the center will serve as a crucial community educational resource for families along the Route 1 corridor and around the Hyattsville area in Prince George’s County, aiming to close learning gaps and prepare students for the upcoming school year.

“Hyattsville has long needed a dedicated learning center focused on academic success,” said deGategno. “We’re not just here to help students catch up on math. We’re here to boost their self-confidence, help them thrive, prepare them for future challenges, and help them become valued members of our community.”
