Hyattsville to Hold 16th Annual Arts Festival on Saturday
The 16th annual Hyattsville Arts Festival is expected to draw thousands on Saturday.
Centered on Gallatin Street in Hyattsville, the festival will feature more than 100 artists and artisans from around the greater D.C. area selling everything from soap to jewelry to paintings.
This year’s food vendors include Route 1 favorites La Michoacana and The Burger Shop as well as barbecue, kettle corn, shaved ice and ice cream.
You can also stop for a drink from Franklins, Denizens Brewing Co., Streetcar 82 Brewing Co. and Maryland Meadworks as well as Liquid Intrusion Brewing Co., Rosie Cheeks distillery, Sheree Harvest winery and Tenth Ward Distilling Co.
Live entertainment this year includes a comedy set by Megan Miller, Anthony Swamp Dog Clark, the Janine Wilson band and Flowers for the Dead, among others.
The free event runs from noon to 6 p.m.
