24-Hour Subway Sandwich Shop Now Open in College Park

If for some reason you need a Subway sandwich at 3 a.m., you can now get one in College Park.

A 24-hour Subway shop recently opened at 7296 Baltimore Ave., in the College Park Shopping Center.

Another Subway sandwich shop also opened last year in the Stamp Student Union food court, which lately is a mix of chain restaurants.

The moves come as Subway is steadily closing locations elsewhere, dipping below 20,000 for the first time in 20 years, although it still remains the largest chain inside the U.S. (McDonald’s has more locations worldwide.)

Still, there are only so-many 24-hour offerings along Route 1. Your other options at that hour include the Denny’s at 8424 Baltimore Ave. and the Wawa at 10050 Baltimore Ave., both of which are too far to be walkable for University of Maryland students without a car.

As a bonus, when you’re done, you can head next door to the 24-hour CVS Pharmacy.
