Wonder Food Hall to Open in College Park on Thursday, Nov. 6

A new food hall is opening in the former Bagel Place site in College Park in early November.

Located at 7423 Baltimore Ave., the Wonder food hall is part of a rapidly expanding New York-based chain backed by billionaire entrepreneur Marc Lore.

It will be holding a series of sneak previews leading up to the grand opening on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 4:30 p.m. featuring live music. The first 100 customers in line will receive a gift bag.

While food halls such as miXt in Brentwood and the former Le Fantome at the Station at Riverdale Park are a sort of testing ground for restaurateurs, Wonder’s model involves more established restaurateurs such as Bobby Flay for its tenants.

Wonder already has 77 locations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including two in D.C. already and two more coming to Cleveland Park and Navy Yard.
