A Heartfelt Thank You From The Hyattsville Wire

The holiday season is the perfect time to reflect on everything we’re thankful for. This year, we’re especially grateful for our readers and supporters along the Route 1 corridor.

In 2025, for the first time since launching the Hyattsville Wire in 2012, we completed a full redesign of our website, made possible with a grant from the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area managed by the Hyattsville Community Development Corp.

We successfully matched the grant with the support of our monthly subscribers, one-time donors, and advertisers.

We’re also grateful for our readers who posted a sponsored article, added a local event to our calendar, sent us a news tip, and shared our stories on Facebook and Instagram.

During this holiday season, we want to sincerely thank all of you on behalf of our team. We appreciate you reading and sharing our stories, and for helping the Hyattsville Wire keep going.
