Indoor Farmers Market Returns to Brentwood’s miXt Food Hall Saturday

The Gateway Farmers Market is again holding an indoor market at the miXt Food Hall in Brentwood on Saturday.

Located at 3809 Rhode Island Ave., inside the Studio 3809 apartment building, the food hall is already home to vendors such as The Burger Shop and La Michoacana.

But from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 31, it will also host farmers selling everything from microgreens to mushrooms to chicken wings and farm-made hot sauce as well as local crafts and artisans.

The list of vendors has grown since last year, organizer Megan Abbot told the Hyattsville Wire.

The market will include Route 1 favorites The Waterhole, Bianca + Jean, Manifest Bread and Snow Crane ice cream and others such as Rosie Cheeks Distillery, Tae-Gu Kimchi and Sheree Harvest Wine.

Because so many are expected to come, visitors are asked to park at the lot behind the Brentwood Fire Station at 3716 Rhode Island Ave.

The indoor farmers market will also be held on Saturday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 28, until it reopens outside in April.
