More College Park Off-Campus Apartments Coming by Late 2027
Another large off-campus apartment building is set to open in the fall of 2027.
Located at Route 1 and Navahoe Street, on the former site of the Campus Village Shoppes, Rambler College Park North will have 288 apartments housing more than 1,000 students when it’s complete.
Planned amenities include dedicated coworking spaces, private study rooms, a fitness center, yoga studio, sauna, cold plunges and a courtyard with a hot tub and game-day Jumbotron.
The building will also have 15,000 square feet of retail space, including a Daydreamer Cafe, a chain of coffee shops built into student housing run by the Texas-based developer, LV Collective. The site is across the street from Vigilante Coffee’s College Park location.
The development made news in 2023 when it led to Taqueria Habanero and other longtime tenants of the shopping center being forced to relocate to relocate.
Rambler College Park North is the latest addition to the town’s massive spurt of student housing, coming as off-campus student housing has evolved into a multibillion-dollar industry that regularly outperforms traditional apartments.
The industry is facing uncertainty, though, as the Trump administration’s tighter visa screening has hurt enrollment numbers for international graduate students, who are a key demographic for the market.
Over the summer, LV Collective also bought the Landmark apartments in College Park and renamed it Rambler College Park South.
