Krazi Kebob has reopened as a virtual kitchen with pickup and delivery options.

After being forced to close in December, the longtime College Park restaurant reopened last week in the nearby Berwyn neighborhood.

Its new location at 5110 Roanoke Pl. does not have a normal storefront or any seating, but the Indian-Mexican fusion menu remains the same.

Customers can order online for pickup here or for delivery using Uber Eats and GrubHub.

The new location is a sort of “virtual food hall” that will also be home to four other “ghost kitchen” restaurants that offer pickup and delivery.

“The owner decided to build a virtual kitchen and brought in Krazi Kebob first,” owner Naumaan “Nomie” Hamid told the Hyattsville Wire. “We are looking for more local culinary talent that wants to open in a shared kitchen space.”

Krazi Kebob, one of the best places to eat halal on the Route 1 corridor, opened in 2010 with a Chipotle-style assembly line to make Indian and Pakistani food available to students. It closed on Dec. 10 to make way for a new apartment and retail development.
