Word is Getting Out About Hyattsville’s ‘Secret’ Pizzeria

Ramona’s Pizza Garden, which recently got a shout-out on Instagram from Washington Post food critic Tim Carman, doesn’t have a restaurant, a food truck, or a spot in a food hall, and you won’t find it on Uber Eats or Seamless.

If you want to order, you’ll need to DM them on Instagram or send an email.

Since last April, owner Will Crick has been selling pizzas online using ingredients from local groceries, farmers markets and, in the summer, his own garden. He makes between 16 and 32 pizzas a week.

“The menu is constantly changing,” Crick told the Hyattsville Wire.

The most popular seasonal pizza involved zucchini, ricotta, lemon zest and mint, but among the regular options, pepperoni remains the top, he said. His personal favorite is a tomato, basil and ricotta pizza, and he hopes to add Sopressata to the menu soon.

The restaurant is named for Crick’s pet cockapoo, who is also featured on a logo created by a family friend.

Crick told the Wire he is planning to do some pop-up locations in the spring and summer.

To order from Ramona’s Pizza Garden, DM them or email them using the address on their Instagram page.
