Irving and Renee Milchberg Lecture

Professor Kathleen Hall Jamieson, the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, will give the fifth Irving and Renee Milchberg Endowed Lecture on Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. in the John S. Toll Physics Building, room 1410.
This lecture was established by Physics Prof. Howard Milchberg to honor his parents, and to highlight the connections among science, truth, the human condition and a civil society.
Prof. Jamieson, the Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center and a co-founder of FactCheck.org, is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and a Distinguished Scholar of the National Communication Association.
Her extremely timely talk, “Communicating What Science Knows in a Polarized Time” is open to all.
Refreshments will be served at 2:30 p.m.
