The on-again off-again construction of the Purple Line is back on again. The state Department of Transportation agreed Tuesday to pay $250 million to settle a dispute over cost overruns on the light-rail line.
The Metro Board of Directors voted to rename the Prince George’s Plaza Metro station “Hyattsville Crossing.”
The Purple Line is once again in trouble, as the consortium of companies overseeing construction have threatened to pull out of the deal.
