Riverdale Park’s Manifest Bread Makes Post’s New Fall Dining Guide
Manifest Bread’s restaurant menu is gaining attention in the greater D.C. area.
Located at 6208 Rhode Island Ave., the Riverdale Park artisan bakery was already well-known for supplying its sourdough loaves to some of D.C.’s top restaurants. But after expanding into a full sit-down restaurant in mid-2025, it’s gaining attention for its broader offerings.
Now, the Washington Post included Manifest Bread in its new fall dining guide, praising its seasonal menu items such as “burrata over a messy pool of grated heirloom tomatoes” in summer and “a roasted half-chicken baked over a slab of sourdough bread” in the fall.
“It should come as no surprise that pizza is a strong point, a little sturdier and more generous in portion than the barely-there Neapolitan pies that are so of the moment,” the reviewer wrote. “Come early, if you can, before the space fills with locals here to enjoy their neighborhood’s best-kept secret.”
The restaurant was also featured in a recent video on the Washington Post website.
Additionally, can also get Manifest Bread by the slice at Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville and College Park.
