As part of a 10-year strategic plan released earlier this month, WMATA said it would be targeting the three stations among 40 overall where it hopes to work with developers to turn currently vacant land into new apartments, office space and shops.
The West Hyattsville, Hyattsville Crossing, College Park and Greenbelt stations, which closed for repairs at the end of May, will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
The West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park and Greenbelt stations closed for extensive repairs on as of May 29 and will not reopen until Sept. 6.
